Easy Cool General Terms and Conditions
- Deposit Policy: Deposits for uncollected goods after one month from the purchase date are non-refundable.
- Finality of Sale: Once a deposit is made, the purchase is considered final, and goods cannot be exchanged.
- Cancellation Charges: Cancellations are subject to an administrative fee plus any losses incurred by Easy Cool.
- Scheduling Deliveries/Installations: Delivery and installation dates are based on Easy Cool’s availability and scheduling.
- Customer Responsibilities: It is the customer’s responsibility to secure necessary approvals from relevant authorities before delivery or installation.
- Ownership of Trade-Ins: All trade-in items become the sole property of Easy Cool, and the customer relinquishes any claim to these items.
Additional Services: Services or resources not included in the Invoice will incur additional charges.
- Liability Limitation: Easy Cool is not liable for incidental or consequential damages.
9. Installation Terms:
9.1 Submission Requirements: Customers must provide Easy Cool with all floor plans and forms (Form CS/5 for HDB apartments) for HDB submission if necessary.
9.2 Installation Confirmation: The customer or an authorized representative must be present to confirm equipment placement on installation day. Changes
after installation will incur charges.
9.3 Power Points: Customers are responsible for providing necessary power points.
9.4 Installation Process: Installation is a one-time service using surface trunking, unless otherwise specified.
9.5 Additional Installation Charges: Extra fees apply for two-time installations, extra materials and last-minute cancellations.
9.6 Testing Costs: Pressure testing of pipes and equipment is chargeable.
9.7 Dismantling Costs: Labor for dismantling equipment/fixtures is chargeable.
9.8 Warranty Exclusions: Installation warranty does not cover pipe condensation.
9.9 Piping Specifications: Piping should adhere to manufacturer’s specifications. Deviations may affect cooling performance and require Easy Cool’s
approval. Refunds are limited to deposits or amounts paid, with no compensation for consequential damages.
9.10 Pipe Length: Standard installation includes 50ft of piping per fan coil for HDB houses and multi-split aircons. Unless specified otherwise in the agreement, this is the default provision. Additional charges apply for extra length.
- Existing Pipes Usage:
10.1 Warranty Limitations: Installation warranty excludes existing pipes, wires, and trunking.
10.2 Alteration Charges: Altering or shifting existing pipes is chargeable.
10.3 Post-Installation Services: Charges apply for pressure tests or gas top-ups if the air conditioner is not cooling effectively.
10.4 Inaccessibility Charges: Additional fees for inaccessible condenser or fan coil changes.
- Job Confirmation:
11.1 Owner’s Approval: Layout and positional details must be confirmed by the owner or representative before installation begins.
11.2 Change Costs: The owner bears the cost of any changes made after initial confirmation.
